well, I've taken so much from frequent visits to this place in the way of inspiration and infectious enthusiasm I figured I ought to try and contribute to the ambience around here so here's a pic.
You've all inspired me to finally start updating my web site. Hope this works. This is my first post.

i no this is a stupid question but all the work on that website is urs, correct? If so, well, thats quite impressive stuff.
As for this one - i really like it, very interesting. I only have one minor (actually, very minor) crit: The head of the robot looks a lil more detailed than the bottom half, like its less blury or somethin. I just think that maby u could make the bottom half a little darker in the shaded parts and lighter in the highlighted parts...But its not that important and it looks great the way it is. U could also make the bg darker to make the robot and the light thing its reachin for stand out more.
Anyway keep up the good work! _________________ -Chase |

Hello
Very good work on detail and stuff.
I dont want to sound harsch but the character looks very flat, something that could be fixed with a more distinct lighting. I made a paintover to show what I mean, I simply sprayed black paint on the areas that I wanted to give shadow and it helps if you want to give the character a more round feeling.
If you dont like my picture or my crit I will take the picture down.
I hope it helped you out.

That's ok. That's what this place is for. I had a lot of trouble with the image looking too light on different monitors. I might have screwed up the gamma. I did originally have it quite dark.
I hope it helped you out.
