I'm sorry, but some shit going on here and there on these boards are just f*cked up.

I don't see any reason for anyone to be acusing anyone on the board of being a rip-off artist without something solid to back that statement up ... let alone insisting that a persons work is a rip off.

In addition to that, outright saying "Oh, and you suck" seems a bit overboard to me too ... Can't we be a little more mature about the forums? Name calling and witch-hunting is only going to make the proverbial shit hit the fan between two or more members .. so everyone's sake ... come on guys, CHILL.

I am completely behind you man. It never ceases to amaze me how immature people get when they start using the net. 99% of the time the person in question would never have the audacity or balls to call someone a rip off artist to their face. And any of you that say "Oh yeah I would" are most likely saying it because it's on the net too.

I think Todd McFarlane is the biggest rip off of all time, but I would never say it to his face, he could ruin me with one million tied behind his back.

I wish the net promoted grown up behavior but it doesn't. In lieu of that, how about everyone that posts to these boards just remember you are a guest on Dhab's site, and act accordinly.....

Is it only me, or does anybody think of Shrimpish as a pompous, self-promoting, zit who's so full of himself that he's about to pop. I mean, he goes around blatantly criticizing art when in truth, his work is no where even near the quality of Dhabih's or Craig's.. My advice to you Shrimpish, learn to be a little more humble.

Hopefully this isnt going to turn into a flame war, cause it really messes up forums when that happens, but in this case i'll make an exception. Quite frankly, Marius aka shrimpish, is not a very good artist. Obviously it doesn't help to critisize people, especially when they're new at something and learning techniques, but shrimpish there is something about your character that is extremely grating. ah well, lets make this thread the one where we air our dirty laundry and shout insults at eveyone and then be done with it.

I don't know where you people live, but here in the US we have something called Free Rights Of Speech, which gives us the right to say anything we want whether good or bad.

Some people do deserve to be put down. Others, maybe not. Most people will take something like 'you suck' and try to make themselves better.

In my opinion, if you can't turn a put down another way, you care too much about little details and knats. Relax a little bit. You don't have to take everything so seriously.

I think everyone should just realize that these forums are meant as a place friendly discussion and somewhere artist can get constructive critisizm regarding there art. When I first started this board i put up a message about not wanting this to become a flame war like i've seen happen so many times on other message boards.
Also don't think that you have to have a comeback for every baseless insult thrown around. Just let it go, and let the other person look dumb, this ain't grade school.

I was sorta hopping that this thread wouldn't become a "..you're right, shrimpish is an asshole" thread ... or a "...you're right, I hate shrimpish" thread. There was a reason I didn't point fingers and call names in the initial message. Critisism is one thing ... what's going on here is something totally different.

So what if Shrimpish doesn't have the most advanced rendering skills out there, he's got a lot of space to grow ... theres nothing wrong with that ... and theres no reason to return his outrageous fire by calling names.

I think Dhabih should close this thread before it gets more outa hand.
