Both of these are some sketches I drew up, not much time for art but yeah, hoping to get back into it, maybe get myself a tablet. Any help w/ content ideas, shading lighting etc. My sunlight isn't quite comming in right and I havn't done shadows yet.
This is a character for a Macross game, if you want you can see the progression by changing the "newart8" to 7, 6, 5 etc. Not really finished with her, something is missing. Needs to be tighter.
Another character form the same game. The last one is kind of the direction I want to go with it, but better, I just sort of sloped the background in. His suit is supposed to be reflective gold. Help on the reflections would be appreciated.

looks cool oakey! yeah, macross rocks. i like the second one heh. not sure how to make the gold better, maybe a better someone around here has some tips. definetely dig the grass.
