[Atrophy]

Hello all, just started getting into CG. This is just some of my stuff I had lying around my computer. This forum really makes me wanna get back to my pencil. I've been kinda burned out cause of so many incomplete works...
Well, here goes, input GREATLY appreciated.


This is Atrophy, one of my creations... name should be self explanitory of his power. I couldn't figure out how to illustrate looking up through the soil at him rampaging through the forest... *sigh*


I like wings on people. That one's about a year older than the first.


I like Fey scenes...

Obviously influenced by seeing Tarzan.

You'll have more luck with critiques if you post one work at a time. Critiquing can get quite time consuming, so I'm sure you'll understand if no one wants to fire off nine of them at a time. I'll just tell you my first impressions of your work, one good point and one weakness.

Your linework is quite nice, though a bit messy. Try to find a way to keep the wonderful loose quality, but clean it up a bit. Your major weakness right now is anatomy. Do some more figure studies to get a better grasp on it. If you're considering a career in art, I suggest that you concentrate on anatomy for a few months and draw little or no stylized work (Anime, American comic style, etc.). I'm not suggesting that you drop that style, just that you concentrate on anatomy for a bit.

Keep up the drawing, you're off to a good start.
