Hello ^_^
I was wondering how short the nib of the stylus has to be before replacing it. Mine's been with me for only two years, I think, and when I measured the visible part of the nib it came up to 2mm. Should I start looking for replacement nibs or should I still stick with this one? It's still working fine, except the tip's gone flat rather than rounded and sometimes scratches the surface (very rarely though).
Any advice would be highly appreciated ^_^ |

With regard to the 'how,' quite a lot of people seem to suggest teeth for the Wacom stylus ^___^. The Wacom manual suggests tweezers. Not sure about Aiptek, though. Give it a go? ^_^

I replace mine every two months or so, but I use it every day for about eight to twelve hours, depending. The time to replace it is when the edges are no longer rounded, but have become angled or chiseled. Don't let it gouge into the surface of your tablet. Should be eight to ten bucks for five or so nibs. _________________ Anything one man can imagine, others can make real... |

Wacom does supply you with a tool for removing the nib, it's a small metal ring with a notch at one end (I used to toss them out before I figured out what it was for). It is pacaged in the little white box that the stylus is packaged in with he extra nibs. You put the nib in the notch, squeeze and pull - works quite well.
