Just wondering if anyone here is looking for a game project to add to their portfolio. I'm currently working on a 2D top down view game called Podwars, and we're in need of some art content now. I've been doing the art direction so far, but I have no problems if one of you is interested in taking over the art direction.
The game is 60% done codewise. 50,000 lines of code done so far, so expect that we'll finish the game. As far as contracts go(and everyone wants to know about contracts, it seems), you'll be given either an aftermarket royalty contract or payment after completion. It depends on my publisher.
If you want to see what the game looks like so far:
http://www.gryfter.net/~wickedewok/Podwars
Tasks involved would be some GUI design, pre-rendering 3D models in Max or some similar program, and texturing. Some 3D scenes will also be required, but not necessarily any 3D animation.
Check out the Job openings section if you're interested, or reply back here.
Thanks!
Marv
(I probably won't get a lot of exposure on the random musings section, but this is an art forum anyway, not a job listing. If any of you happen to know people looking for this sort of project, please send them to the site. We're looking for 2-3 artists right now. Thanks a lot!) _________________ -------Wicked------- |

Hello
Yea I am 25, thats what I have tried to tell everyone.
I guess it was during the flaming period where someone said that I was 12 or 13 so I guess you heard it there.
Thankx for checking my site.

Hey Matt,
I'm sorta looking for a 3D artist more than anything else, and I assume 3D artists know how to texture the models that they make already. But you do have some nice work on site. I'll let you know if I can't find any modellers who want to help out. Maybe you can start doing 3D again.
Also, the work required may eventually be the entire art direction, as I spend way too much time coding nowadays. _________________ -------Wicked------- |

Hello again.
Yea the 3d artist should know about the texturing and stuff. Thank you for looking at my site.
I wont start 3d again cause I have to get this painting stuff together and I think 2d is more fun too.
Thank you
