Hey man. I would like to start off by saying that I to posted in your book about the board and such. I am sorry, This board is going to be truly amazing if you are sticking around and answering questions for people like you have been.
Now, onto the question. The is regarding the tutorial. When it says "For lines that define edges, i smudge along with the line and for lines that define shaded areas I smudge against the line.".
Uhmm... I don't quite understand the "Against" part. What do you mean?
Also the refinment, do you think you could give me/us a couple examples of places you would use refinement and how you would go about doing it.
Thats all. Keep up the incredible work Dhab, I will be a regular at this board, no doubt. Later!

I think when you have a sketch in PS you wanna start the shadowed areas somehow, so what it means, you smudge lines that represent shadows so it gets all blurry.. and if lines represent edge lines you just smudge along with the line to make it smoother and curvy.. thats what my bum did when following the tutorial. After i filled the colors i smudged the lines that were representing shadows on clothes and wrinkles.
Swastica down the drain.. Hitler kaputt!
