I'm just going to comment on your first one. I like that you used several different colors for the skin tone. Nice job there. The biggest problem I see is your line work. If you're going to keep it in the final work, then it needs to be more solid. Right now it looks very, very sketchy. I suggest that you ink it before you color it and get rid of the pencil.

Both of these are a good effort.

Hey merlyns

I think you have an unique sketching style and these are very cool.
Not sure if you are going for the more of a Manga style or more real, if they are more towards the real maybe the eyes are a bit big and perhaps the pictures are a bit skew, something I have problems with too.
When I draw I usually flip the paper I am drawing on against a lamp or sometimes using a mirror.
Kind of why these old Marvel dudes like Scott Mcdaniel and some other dudes uses a Lightbox, they can both flip and draw over a sketch and it should come in handy real good, maan.... I need a lightbox Smile
I hope some of it was good tip.

thankys for replying.

well I suck at lineart. I need to prectice on that.

the first pic is a sorta manga/realism mix

thanks matthew for pointing out that the eyes are to big, I didn't notice that.

Your first sketch didn't show up, but I like the girl's hair in the second sketch quite a bit.
