Is there any way I can view my Painter files in ACDSee, those saved with the .RIF extension ?
I'm uisng ACDSee3.1, anyone can confirm if a later version actually support Painter files ?
Or.. should I just not bother with RIF file and save always into another format? (one that keeps painter's layerd and such mind you). I 've noticed the RIF files are really HUGE
Thanks for any help

Always save in another format when possible. RIF files have a bad habit of becoming corrupt --it happens infrequently, but once is enough.
Unfortunately, other formats can't save Painter's proprietary shapes, water color layers or some layer modes etc. So, if you must save as a RIF file, consider saving a flattened .PSD or .TIF file as well, just in case.
