hi, I'm new here, I was shown these boards and was really impressed by a lot of the stuff I saw. Finally got the guts to put up one of my pieces so here it is:
I used a photo reference, drew it, scanned it and then coloured it in photoshop. For the fullsize just take out the '-Small' from the url. Any comments would be great 
*edit - I was originally going to do a background but i got sidetracked with other things and never got around to it, maybe someday =P *

very nice the highlights are done very well.
I think that right shoe is a bit to small.

Its really cool but this superspecialforcesupersoldier looks a lil bit too flat around the breast under his right shoulder

Awful texture. You really have a good touch on them. 
One little suggestion, his shoes perhaps can be a little "thicker", you know those military shoes are really heavy.

thanks for the comments and crits guys, perhaps when I have some time I'll see about a background and fixing up those suggestions
On a side note I'm applying to OCAD (Ontario College of Art and Design) and my interview is coming up saturday, this is one of the main pieces I plan to use in my portfolio. |

Good luck for your interview! I believe you are professional enough.
Hope someday I can go to art school too. Dont want to always be a "wild" doodler.
