Hello

I had to do one more picture from the Hero site, had trouble with this one and especially to get the resemblance.
hey Drew I followed your advice so this time I choosed the color my self and tried to get them as near as possible. I decided to blur the background so hopefully the characters shows more, what do you think?
C&C is always appreciated, thank you. Smile (p.s. I can take critique.)

My picture:

And the reference:

And the link to the site

Thank you for looking
have a nice weekend
Matthew

yeah, i was kinda confused, but then i visited his site and ... now i know what you are talking about.
matthew, this is really a big improvement. you should use references more often. first i thought the brown guy was painted with use of the reference. stupid me! how long did it take?

Umm.. Matthew.. did you really mean to post that brown guy picture? Their filename is kinda similar so I think you might have posted the wrong one.

I didn't get it either at first.. and with CwStone's comment I thought.. how the HELL does that weird brown guy capture the girls expression?? I get it now though Smile. You're improving immensly matthew.

Nice pic, but it looks like the heads have switched genders in some ways.
For the rest it's great.

Oh my How embarissing Embarassed I must have mixed it up on the site with wrong name when I updated the site. Sorry about that. Embarassed

CwStone - Thank you, yea I managed to caught the resemblanse in the girl better than the guy.

Max Kulich - Thank you Max

Tinusch - yea somehow the name got switched with the speedy. Embarassed

Tinsuch - Thank you

aColdOldKodiak - yea what a bummer from me, and I was away yesterday so the wrong picture was up for two days ...huuu.

firefreak - Thank you there firefreak, I think it took around 4 hours, if you meant the speedy, the Rooster about took 5 minutes I think...hehe

Diruo - No it was not intentional and it was very embarassing cause it could be taken as a flaming from me and it wasnt intentional, sorry about that. Embarassed Thank you

Soak - It is fixed now. I changed the filename

firefreak - Cool thing with the link there, Thank you again Smile

Frode - Thank you, yeah I had trouble with the males face and it didnt became that good, it looks like another samurai or something ..hehe

Soak - Thanks again Soak, its not a drawover, its painted freehand so no measuring anywhere and I picked the colors on my own this time too.
I usually check the originals image size and make the Canvas I am painting on the same size. Kind of easier to catch the image resemblance that way but I think the characters in my picture went to far to the right.

Ok Thanks to everyone who answer this Thread, it wasnt intentional and I dont want to make a flaming joke on anyone, once again sorry about the mistake. Thank you Smile

Mathew, this is easily ten times better than any previous effort I've seen from you. It's so good to see someone take the good advice people here offer and improve so much. You used reference and picked your own colors and I'm a happy man. Everyone look at this! Excellent job.
