Hey, I just took some pics of my sculpey charactor I did for my art class. I pretty satisfied with the final results, especially since I've never worked with clay before.
If anyone has any suggestions about my model or scupting in general, I'd love to hear it.

First time with clay? Pretty darn good. I really like the feet on this one, All I can say is maybe a little more work on the brow and mouth and possibly a more intricate design on his shoulder strap and some pants ^__^... j/k
Good stuff' |

its pretty good for first time. ive worked with clay for some time, and my teach said that (if u want to fire it in the kiln to make it hard - for glazing or keeping) it shouldn't be more than 2cm thick, or else it will crack and probably break up. and make sure there are no air bubbles in the clay if u fire it. just knead it like dough, it should do. but then again - if u're firing it. |
