Was watching Smallville's rosetta episode, heard the Superman theme by John Williams, had to download it. Downloaded it and then got inspired to do some work in photoshop. Unfortunately haven't had time to play with it in awhile. So since I've been hleping alot instead of posting my own work, here's Superman.



Any C+C is welcome, and might help when I finally come back to the image when I have time.

The chest is either wayyyy to large.. or everything else is too small..the head should be longer .. i aslo believe the shoulders take too much of a decline - they should be a bit more broad... soften up the edge of his groin area - perhaps bulk it up a little more

otherwise.. for an unfinished product.. theres not much i can suggest.. but it looks pretty good

It seems like his thumbs are oriented outside then the biceps should look in the same direction. Just try it...

Thanks for the tips. As is implied due to the fact that it's in this section, this is a work in progress, so nothing is done yet.

Acidcrys: I can see your comment about the head, may just make a new one as I'm not too happy about that one anyway. Also I'm not trying for something super realistic (or else I'd go for an Alex Ross style) So the chest is something I may or may not look at depending on how realistic I feel that day.

Andy'Ba: Yeah, I see what you mean. I think I drew in the hands just for them to be there, not as a permanent reference. But thanx for pointing that out, might have missed it otherwise.

Now, a question I was thinking aobut putting out there, should I make his hair with blue highlights, or just keep it as black?

NOt meaning I'm working on it yet (May not touch it for another Month) But just seeing what you guys think.
