No pics in this thread unfortunatly..
Just wondering... In what size do you work with your digital paintings? Also,
do you select a colorscheme before you start your painting or do you make
up the colors as you go along?
Would be very fun to hear how you guys work on your paintings!
So, drop a few lines to keep me from getting totally bored! _________________ It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice!

Yeah, Digital Art Discussion would have been the place for this, but to answer your questions....
I have read (here at Sijun) to initially work at 150% larger than your desired finished size. Then, upon completion, resize the image down to what you want. I usually do my few (I'm still new to this) pieces at 7"x9" or 1400x1800 pixels, and then resize.
As for the colors, sometimes I have an idea in my head as to how I want it to look, other times I shoot from the hip. Tons of help, huh? _________________ Put a muzzle on her Turkish, before she gets bit. You don't wanna get bit, do you boy? |
