I am looking for an artist to create fantasy images like elves, goblins, trolls, thieves, bandits, towns, mountain ranges, forests, and etc.
Images: 40-60
Image size: colors, 80 x 56 (a)
Compensation: please provide a quote.
(a) you can make the images larger and then shrink them down if it easier for you.
If you are interested, please contact me, and we can work out the details.
Thanks,
Anh |

Is this the sort of concept images you are looking for? I'm interested in doing the job. Could you give me more details please. I took a look at your website and the world the game is based around is just like Lord of the Rings. There could be some copyright issues! |

Are you sure about that image size? That is extremely small. For concerns of quality it is extremely small like printings the size of an ant.
Out of curiosity what would these images be used for? _________________ http://prettydiff.com/ |

Yes.. the Music on the site is credited to Basil Poledrous (conan soundtrack) Enigma, Lorenna Mckennit, and Howard Shore. Most of that will be removed when we actually get published. Most of it is theme/mood music. It is all credited at the bottom of the page until then.
That art piece is really nice. I like it. The game is based off a "lord of the rings" type usniverse. Kinda like D&D, cause D&D is based off a Lord of the rings (type) universe (originally). But that is cause Tolkien has defined modern day fantasy alot and his influences are everywhere.
It is a Fantasy Combat game. Semi Role play. Dungeon Crawler.
Races are Elf, Human, Dwarf, and Halflings. The classes are Barbarian, Magic User, Rogue/Thief, Monk, Fighter, Knight (martial fighter), Shaman, Ranger, and Cleric. It is a Fast, peanut and beer style game with enough detail to make things very interesting, and not bogged down by too much elaborite story telling and super complext plot influences.
It is a deadly game, that uses a random element to create enounters and finds.
Sketches of Elves, Halflings, Humans, and Dwarves would be great. We just need some graphics to pop in the book.
And for the record.. I would say that the Conan Soundtrack is like one of the best scores ever composed. Slighlty above the LOTR. Both very awesome sounds. _________________ -=Paridine=-

I can do the drawings you require and I can post them on this thread if you like by Saturday. Well, I'll see what I can get done by then. Keep in mind I'm working full time in a factory and have quite a few things to do during the week outside of work. I'm fast when it comes to pencil sketches, but I've still a lot to learn when it comes to using Photoshop. Don't get me wrong I can paint, but I've quite a long way to go before I reach the standard of many of the artists whom are members of this website.
I have a few questions:
A) Are the image sizes in pixels, centimeters, inches or whatever?
B) Can we arrange a time on Saturday or preferably Sunday GMT to talk about the project in more detail? |

Sure.. you can e-mail me at [email protected] and you can let me know what it is you would like to do and what it is you would like in return.
You can just slap a sketch together so I can get an idea of what style you have.
I am not really too picky.. I like all kinds of stuff..
I don't need much work.. I just know that graphics can make a book look good and I think sketches give a rough, authentic look... rather than the prettied up 3ed D&D.. where it all looks cartoony _________________ -=Paridine=-

Talon wants me to say "Thank you!" from him
Those are for D&D Ravenloft, btw. And no, I'm not him. _________________ www.torsteinnordstrand.com |
