It's been a while since I've posted anything, but here are three illustrations (yes, they're fanart, so sue me) I did for my senior topics in design class's final project. They're 15"x20" posters, bound into a 5x20 woodcover book.
goofy fun.... about 6 hours
the fuchikoma owns the rest of the picture. 20+ hours
20+ hours. i decided afterwards that my illustrations look better (and go much quicker) if i leave the outline visible.
Not the greatest, but... I got them done on time.

I'm not sure what the first one is fanart of, so I don't know for sure about the style, but it looks to me like you need some more shading on the head in particular.
on the second one, the guys eyes bug me, I can't really figure out what he's doing with them.
third one looks pretty good though, but aren't the angels considerably bigger than that compared to people?
they're all good stuff though, keep it up  |

First one is Kare Kano/His and Her Circumstance- it's got a very flat art style (decided to paint it very much like the series).
Second one- Batou has implants (or something) over his eyes. They looked weird, no matter how i painted them.
Third- yep, Unit 2 is huge. Especially compared to the young Asuka. But hey- it's a poster composition, screw scale

The first one could of used some 3 or 2 point perspsective.
