this is really different. comparing to youre normal style

It looks nice to me tho.

but it looks as if it is made in a rush.

Nice, I like the relaitve colours and tones. and the softness.

As soon as I saw it I wanted to do this to it. Hope you don't mind. Looks warmer and more inviting and the sun is bright and orange where it touches her. All that was in you original pic but I think it is improved from exaggerating it.

edit: looking at it again I think that your picture would probably stand up well with the inking/lines. cool! do more!

I really like it Luna, reminds me of your photos.
About the colors, I'd like them better warmer, but that's a matter of taste. (Fred, yours has too much contrast imo)

I updated the pic with some minor tweaks.

Thanks for the crit and compliments. The overpaint's nice too. Smile

This piece is not at all serious, just a small break from the stress of the film production. I'm not going to be all anal about these "fun pieces" like I do with my more finished paintings--or else they wont' be fun anymore.. Very Happy

I'll do more experimental pieces like this in the future just to ease the stress...
