This is my most recent work in progress and my first post here in Sijun. I was inspired by the second animatrix. After doing a few drawings of armor I came up with this. C&C are welcome.
Thanks in advance. ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) _________________ Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. |

Looks pretty cool
One big thing I didn't like as much was the choice of colors for the armor (just too saturated with color for me).
The colored version something happened there with his grip on the sword. Looks like his right hand is the only thing holding the sword (and appears like it has a short handle). You could shade it a little at the top of his left hand to correct some confusion.
One more is that he seems off balance and I don't know if they actually walked leaning forward when going into battle (maybe upright with the sword straight up?) Just seems odd. It's a nice pic too so maybe a background of some sort could make it more interesting to set the character in its time?
Gluck with it and keep posting ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) _________________ Meep meep |

Thanks Xyster.
I'll experiment with different, less saturated colors.
As for his position, I was trying to draw him in a stance as if he is ready to swing out his sword in attack. It doesnt really look that way however. Perhaps I should rotate the shoulders to show more of his back and move the sword closer to his right shoulder.
*Edit
Heres the latest. Now that I've lengthened the sword it seems that the hands should be a little smaller and further apart.
