Hi guys
Im just returning to painting after a break of a good ten years and am hoping to significantly improve my skills. Can anyone help me with these questions?
First, is there a resource for colour, nude figure models anywhere (excluding the Adult Check sites were the poses probabley arnt that appropiate anyway:). I have checked the Sumaleth link achive and done my own searches but to no avail.
Second, when painting flesh, what colours would you suggest including at apart from the more obvious?. Ive been using subtle pinkish washes here and there and was wondering what other slight tones people use. I read blues (on the highlights?) are good and even dark olives in the shadows.
Id appreciate any help.

Hey Carter - what's "colour"? Just kidding!!
Seriously though - are you referring to digital painting or traditional painting? If it's digital I know that Sumaleth's Link Archive has some stuff pertaining to it (Ron Lemen has some digital, flesh specific tutorials). _________________ - Tom Carter

Hi all.
Thanks for the input, really appreciated. Just checked out those excellent Ron Lemen tuts and will work my way through the other links mentioned as as well.
Ive already been digesting the Andrew Loomis books for a while and am a big fan.
Ill post something in the gallery when I think my works up to it - dont hold your breath though
