My first painting using OpenCanvas.
My second landscape/seascape painting that i've made.
Made it 2003.02.27
Started 14.30

Wow, I'm really suprised that no one has commented on your piece yet. It looks great! I love the trees! And the ducky is great!
I am having a little trouble following what's going on in the distance. It looks like there could be water over there too, but I think it's suppose to be the sky. It was the first thing I noticed though.
Also, I generally try to avoid compositions that lead your eyes to the direct center. This is one of those artist preference things I guess. But I don't think the viewers eye moves through the painting enough when everything in the painting points to the middle.
I really like your colors though and compared to the other opencanvas stuff I've seen this is incredible! Keep up the good work! _________________ Tim Davis

indeed a very cool picture, I love it.
Some mysteria there with the duck and Pyramid in the back, is there a pair of pants hanging to dry in the back?
