lPOOO, no I don't think it's too harsh, a comma is a beautiful butterfly with brownish wings. I think that many bastards in this world are only in need of a good beating to help them realize their inner beauty.

haohmaru, wow, great response! For some damn reason, I was thinking that my post would be read by other people who had similiar experiences and would console me in my anguish. I do know of serveral others on this board who take cs as seriously as I do. Thankfully though you went through the trouble to respond with your insulting post for no other reason than to belittle it. Thanks! It's good to know that there are still people who are so self-righteous.

I thought there were cs players here at sijun? If you don't like cs roadmaster, why the hell are you responding to my post? It seems I made the mistake of thinking that I could post a random muse here, and that I would get responses from people who might have some interest in the subject. Instead I get this "counterstrike sucks and is full of losers", and "honestly: how lonely and sad does your life have to be, to take something as unimportant as counterstrke so very serious? it's nothing more than a stupid game goddamnit". What makes you think I want responses like that? Or do you spend so much time here at sijun that you feel obligated to respond to every thread even if you have nothing worth while to say?

the problem is that i find this thread so fucking dumb, i just had to say so.
if i thought you wanted responses like that there would've been no sense in telling you. but it seems as if nobody ever told you there are more important things in life than games, and there is absolutely no reason to take counterstrike as serious as to build up such agressions. pfff! laugh about it, or feel sorry for that looser who has to push his self esteem by cheating or abusing his moderator rights, because obviously he has nothing else in his life.
i would really expect everyone with just a little intelligence to stand above such things.

I may be attacked by the counter strike people for this..

Theres a new game, (demo came out yesterday) called devastation, which from what little i've played appears to be a alot like counterstrike. Doesn't run too well on my comp though. (even though it surpases the req by a bit, and is able to get about 40fps in ut2k3.)

I don't understand the ongoing obsession with Counterstrike and ALL tactical shooters. I mean, they were fun, back when Action Quake 2 was big, and counter strike was a beta. I'm pretty sure that the majority of the gamers who played Counterstrike 0.6b don't play it today, though, and I think it's because CS is not only hilariously outdated, but it's also severely limited in terms of scope and replayability.

Also, X-box zealots drive me fucking nuts, what with their Halo "live link" parties and their smug confidence in their (comparatively) powerful console. I actually read an article in X-Box magazine about how Return to Castle Wolfenstein will look SO much better than it did on the PC.

Nothing to understand. Realistic games are fun so people play them. CS is outdated. Their only pros are the horde of players and low hardware specs.
