The battle is on, as the first step of the Glorious Return to punish the Genesis for their batrayal and past misdeeds, Nemesis forces have entered the old city of Naglae. Troops are engaging in heavy fighting in the streets, slowing clearing Genesis forces out of the city. Resistance is strong, the Genesis are obviously intent on keeping their installations and objectives intact and are putting up a fierce fight, reinforcements are constantly being dropped into the city as the fighting continues.
Top An officer shouts out to his men for backup as a soldier covers fire.

that wasn't too nice :/
I like the general look, witrh the fuzzyness and what not, but I'd work on that guys face... it looks a little weird, it could use more definition.

maybe, JUST MAYBE you should justify your reasoning behind why you think it's "horrible".
i like this picture, quite "starwarsesque" armor style. i think his face is a little too red!  he's blushing...
that guns pretty rockin' too hehe.
im curious tho... how exactly did you make this picture? i can see a noise filter, and you were mentioning "photo manipulation"? could you show us this original photo?

its got godwins gradient style all over it
anyway, i think the red chemical cloud area or whatever it is that meakes the BG sky/ground red is a bit ... distracting.. it would be nice to see into the clear.. into the far Bg to fully realise the sense of battle.. like what you've always been doing 'win

this was different to what i was doing before, i wanted to acheive a realistic look, just trying it out
the red there is a red-brick building, perhaps i cropped it bad
i cant seem to find the original photo....
this one is edited a little,
ya ya all i did was make them wear armour, and i know i messed up the poses a little, and it isnt done yet
plus, ive never been able to draw a face with proper shading properly, lest painting one

yeah, what he said. but i like this one better than the first one posted at the top of this thread. the cartooniness of it adds to the pic i think.

cartoons?  okaaay... i never set out to get that, well nvm, the most is that i'll never try out this style for doing things again, since it is rather tedious as well

godwin the "cartoony" feel comes partially from the strange and rather clumsy looking Lego-style armor design IMO. The fuzzyness is adding to this also.

| I'm liking it. However I don't really like the guy without the helmet. There is just something about him that looks odd. Almost like his head is pasted on or something. |
