I guess this is done, but it needs some elements to push it over the top, dunno what exactly.

Well, May I suggest that a creature that carries some heavy metal armor would have a much larger impact on the ground. The footprint would not only be deeper, but have signs of movement because of its weight. (ahh and check placement)
The other thing I'd like to point out is that I would strengthen the creatures legs and feet. It seems that they are a bit underdeveloped for a creature of such build.
As for the stalking itself: Who is it stalking? We can't see anyone. Once again I'll suggest to put some figures into the background (outlines on the horizon?) and since the color scheme fits that of a dessert, I'd add some dunes. Personally for such a piece I'd ask 'WHY' and try to explai it visually.
Hope this helps _________________ Damn Accounts/Passwords everywhere! I'm not new - just had to reregister!!!! due to memory lapses |

don't take it wrong or anything but I really like that sand you made. It's something so often overlooked.. |

Actually I saw the steel more as a part of the creature - not armor - so I have no complaints about the amount of strength it should have and/or the footprint..
the only thing I noticed was that the right foot seems a bit stiff compared to the other food.. like it actually appears to be a tree trunk.. its so uncurved and everything.. I also think the head/face gets a little flat textured compared to the rest of the steel..
oh yeah and I would suggest.. making the creature more defined/bold than the sand.. whether outlining him to make him darker.. or shading him darker.. ;.. or doing the reverse and making the sand darker.. something.. just to really seperate foreground from background _________________ Help me grow. |
