very nice tutorial, thanks.
Think a tutorial or samples for different cloud types would be nice. like cirrus, stratus, and so on. |

Great tutorial. One of the best I have seen for clouds. _________________ Put a muzzle on her Turkish, before she gets bit. You don't wanna get bit, do you boy? |

Very nice. I think you should keep it like that, very easy to follow.
Good work.

awesome! Thanks Stephen! I don't think it's too small - very simple and straightforward. _________________ - Tom Carter

It seems a little small for me, but maybe I'm just dumb. Small both in terms of the size of the images (hard to make out squiggles), and in terms of your explanations. I think the number of steps are fine, but I think you're relatively brief in your comments.
However, you're awesome - and this tutorial is awesome. Just for my taste, I'd like it slightly more involved.
Thanks for doing this, Steven. |

Nice tute. I like the simpicity of the technique.. truly very useful. Thx for putting in the effort. I wouldn't mind seeing a tute for the water aswell *nudge, nudge*

Thanks!
Jezebel, no don't!
Ian - the whiteboard markers on the screen, that's an old old advice I wrote, like back in -97 or so - but that was for 3d, not 2d. Sometimes in modeling I wanted to quickly have a 'help-line' without having to model it, so I drew on the screen. Very handy, I still use it. I should explain that on that page... |

Jeez, Steven!! That's just amazing. I feel lucky somehow to have battled with clouds in my own crappy, weird and messy way BEFORE finding this brilliant tutorial. It's all so clear now. Yet I have had fights of my own prior to this awakening.
You know?
Thaks for sharing Mr. Stahlberg!!

Great - just what I need. Haven't read the tutorial , but judging from the pictures it's a\/\/some.
More cloud types would be great. |
