Yeah...it only works right there though at the moment with everything lined up perfectly.
once they make it portable to fit in the pocket so that it can project that way or some shit like that other than having to carefully set up all kinds of camera gear to make sure your reflection isn't offset then that'll be really neat.
they did this with a tank a long time ago. was kinda fun.

Didn't the US army work on a camouflage gear a few years ago ? That'd be wicked. *suddently has a flashback of Kusanagi appearing out of thin air and beating the crap out of the "pupetmaster"* teehee ! |

This all points to a massive Japanese invasion of beautiful Japanese females.
I can't wait. _________________ QED, sort of. |

I think so! I can't find anything on it anymore though. I think it was on TechTV "Tomorrow's Soldier" or something like that is where I saw it. It was like micro mirrors or something all around their uniform, they looked like the predator walking around, where you kindof saw them, but if you didn't look hard enough they were pretty much invisible.
I wish I could find a picture of what the soldier looked like ![Sad](images/smiles/icon_sad.gif) _________________ My signature is irrelevant |

I had a similar idea.. which I thought might work pretty well..
Ive heard recently that they have woven fibers to make a screen... like tv on cloth.
well what if they made it so that every fiber could read what color of light is hitting it and then send that color to a corresponding fiber on the other side of the garment?
essentially you would have the light thats behind you being displayed on the front of you and vice versa...
problem is that whats below you would darken the top of you...... havent figured that part out yet.. |

EDIT: maybe I should mention what it is slightly to give you an idea first before venturing off and such.
It's coated with chemicals to make it reflect the same IR crap that's in the surrouding environment, it's color matched to specific environments with the right colors and patterns, and they're thermal insilated(fuck spelling) to make it all yay.
My brother has a jacket like this. It's green with a yellow grid pattern on it. He wore it in the evening, it wasn't even dark, but I couldn't find his stupid ass worth shit. neat stuff. |
