Ugh. Haven't done anything of quality in awhile. But these were fun anyways.
3 lineart gals and a sketch from my sketchbook.

Couple problems already:
#1 I have crappy paper that doesn't erase very well, so that's what all those yucky marks are.
#2 Some of my anatomy is a little off.
#3 I have a tendency to lean to the right, I must be sitting funny when I draw.

Pretty cool drawings. Really the major thing that stands out to me is maybe the drapery on the middle one (second one), with the flowing skirts. The anatomy issues seem to be more about foreshortening the leg - it's a tough one to pull off believeably with simple line art - and maybe figuring out how to ground the characters a bit more, so they feel like they have some weight as they stand there (or leap as the case may be).

Anyway, very nice stuff.

I hope you don't mind, but I decided to color one of your drawings. It was just so clean... And it wanted to be colored... Really!

If you want me to take it down I'll be more than happy to. I have also uploaded it to my webpage if that's a problem.

Anyway, after looking at Francis' crits about the leg I can see it. But as I was painting somehow that didn't occur to me. (I was just following your lovely line art!)

I just wanted to tell you how much I like your work. Hope you like the paintover! It's kind of sloppy, (especially the background. kinda slapped that together.) but that's just me.

Francis: That forshortening caused me nothing but grief. But it's something I plan on tweaking further. Any suggestions on how I "ground" them a bit more?

Tim: I think the paintover is great. Unfortunately the top three are pin up girls for a forth coming website, so I can't let you keep the paintover on your site. But it's always neat to see how other people picture the colours and lighting.
