[Twizzler]

Hey everyone!

This is my first post here and just wanted to say how much great info I've gotten from this board. Very inspiring and motivational posts here.

Anyways, not sure where this guy came from, but I got to playing with my new Wacom and thought I would start posting some stuff.



After staring at him for the past 3 hours, I think he looks fine but I want a fresh set of eyes. I'm still undecided on the background. I originally had a TV, etc on the left and a couch (complete with half-eaten food) in the background; hence, the light source coming from the left side.

Any and all crits (or tips) are welcome. Thanks in advance.

The line art and coloring on the charictor are pretty good. However, the flat bland background takes away from what would be a very good painting. Try to either add some flair to it. Or change the tone so the focal point (the alian) stands out a bit more.

I love the spots by the way!! Very cool

I'm still working out a background. I really hate being indecisive. :/
