jjust copy and paste this into your browser: http://www.geocities.com/zippysquirrelnuts/uprising.JPG

You should reduce the size! And the image looks pretty confusing ... you want to draw the masses of people in that image? Or in another one?
It's hard to imagine what you have in mind.
In any case ... look for tips on coloring in general. Maybe practice with less complicated subjects first and maybe you'll learn enough to figure out how to approach that warfare thing ... and there are lots of tutorials: Sumaleth's Link Archive
Guess you know that already.
And you don't want to find a better host for your images? _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |

hrm.. what the hecks is that? i mean...
im refraining to comment just because the image is 6 times bigger than my screen resolution (15" inch rox). we dont need to see every pixel you drew just to comment on the drawing. reduce the size to fit any screen man. its not going to lose its essence.
even if i comment on it, i wouldnt know how, what is it? where are the masses of people. bout the link. just give it as .txt or .htm or make a site at someplace you can link offsite. (web1000.com for ex.) |

To be honesy, IMHO yor colouring is cool. But it defintely confusing - really really confusing pic. I can't make see of it, rotated is it? cropped? it's cool an I like what I feel like you are trying to do, but at the moment it needs to be more coherent... I think.. |

allright since everyone is bitching and moaning about the size of the thing, i apologise, i hadnt actually looked at it until after i posted it, and ya, it was huge, so anyways i resized the pic. now it should be easier to make out whats going on, in the pic all the blurry stuff is what i want to get rid of and replace with masses of people, so if anyone has tips on how to paint crowds without driving themselves nutty, id appreciate it, try to keep in mind that this pic is only like 50 or 60 percent done, i still need to to do some other stuff with the lighting to unify every element togeteher. aside fro that give me as much feedback as you want, im probably gonna redo this into another picture at a later date, im gonna reduce the size of the two main characters cuz i agree with the people saying that the picture looks very cropped. anyways, heres the link.http://www.geocities.com/zippysquirrelnuts/uprising2.jpg _________________ thats funky.....and not in a good way.

size is much better now, thank you.
now i can see that it's two giant robots, kind of 'cibertron's soundwave' style fighting(?)
what i have to comment is that because of all the poligonal parts seperated by the outlines, its hard to tell which parts belong to which robot. for example, even for a transformers junkie like me, its hard to tell to which robot is the big arm in the middle or the legon the left is connected..
and to your request maybe this can help:

btw, digitalart has new layout ;], just discovered.. |
