Wow! cool, How did you achieve this dirt glowing feeling?

I change my drawings alot while drawing them, and erase and start over on the same space, rather than atrting over on a new sheet. It seems to leave a real heavy residue, that works well with clouds.
I've also been told that smugding with your fingers and not a cloth, will bond the pencil to the paper more, which also leaves heavier residue.

So basically i'm too lazy to get a cloth, or change papers when i mess up.

But it seems to work well.

it looks good but in the second picture it seems hard to make out the detail and it seems like the important ones are lost.

actually thats pretty much how the actual pic looks, i tried to draw the children as if they were half cloud, and half real.
