This was for a book about Treants-gone-bad, in this case this one died by fire and has come back to wreak vengeance:

i love the texture on the bark and the detail on the fire...yet the only thing that bothers me is his right hand and arm (our left) it looks too much like a chiken foot....and the arm--though probably too late to say---would be better if it didnt look like it was coming outta the tree's head----lovely painting though-- 8)

That is some impressive work. Smile But, I was thinking about the back branches, maybe the are fading a bit too much.
