This is the beginnings for my turnaround sheets. They represent two major characters in a "movie" I"m playing with in my head.
This is one of the villians. It's a creature based on a humanoid female, a rhinocerus, a toad and other reptilian bug-like features. I am going to evolve her to the next level as well as to de-evolve her to see where she could conceivably have started. I really want to keep her face humanoid however as I look at the image, I'm thinking that her entire head has to be either simplified or made outstanding in some way.
Any suggestions especially from all you character designers is welcome!
Here's the hero.
I"ll be developing them as maquette and then modelling them in 3d.
Emphasis is on colour/harmony in their progression of theme. _________________ "Oh what a tangled web we weave
