Cool! You draw from ref or without ...?
I think the arms seem too wide and the nose not long enough. Guess the head should be bigger (is the head centered correctly?). The nose should also be more subtle ... (my English sucks).
The horns don't seem round ... but I'm not sure. (kinda tired)
You have to balance the picture. Too much weight on the right side...(or crop it)
At first glance I thought it's accurate. I think it's a cool sketch ... guess that didn't come across right !
Some points are irrelevant if you don't want to keep the lines. _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |

The nose is too high, the horns do not seem rooted in the head and seem to float behind it, the prespective on the horns seems slightly flattened, the eyes are probably a bit too large and the mouth slit should probably be about 1/3 the distance from the septum (bottom) of the nose to the bottom of the chin (right now it is about 1/2 the distance.) If you move the nose down a bit that might fix the mouth position relative to everything else.
So, I think most of the issues are in the face. The arms are only very slightly too thick, but not by much.
The eye (I assume) in the back seems to have some broken through lines (the radii of some curve segments don't match, and their lines don't always seem to meet). Also, the big eye seems generally not quite anatomically correct, but then it could be a creature with non-human-like eyes, so what do I know?
Otherwise, cool idea! I like the pose. I'm looking forward to the results. |
