Hey, I asked for a 3D animating program for Xmas and I got DesignCAD 3D Max... I couldn't find any reviews of it anywhere online yet so I was wondering if any of you had used it. I haven't opened it yet because if I do I can't take it back. What do you say, have you used it? Is it any good? What software would you recommend in place of DesignCAD 3D Max?

It looks like it's a low-cost 3D CAD program, not an animation/modelling program. Check out Maya for its conditionally free modelling/animation app. I wouldn't expect to find very many quality 3D apps for lower than 500 dollars, unless you chance upon an older release of the best programs in bargain bins at computer stores. _________________ QED, sort of. |
