A Little christmas surprise:
I have just finished the first version of Nil salentinn: my color correction software. It still needs some work but I hope to be able to start working on the paint software soon. This app has been written in about 2 weeks so i am a fairly fast programmer and I hope i will be able to give you something to play with in the not to distant future. But for now go check it out at http://www.quelsolaar.com and have a great christmas every one. you have been great at giving me feed back so far I cant wait to have the first version of my paint app out for testing.

I downloaded it.
The way it works is about as nuts as it looks from the screenshots.
If you're going to do something like this with your proposed digital art program, i am indeed interested. _________________ QED, sort of. |

that's my MO.
you quit it by pressing F12, (hint: read the read_me.txt)
Yes a lot of code will be shared between this project and the painter app im planing. I have a number of lib's written that make app development very efficient. that is why this app has only taken about 2 weeks to develop.
makototaramoto:
It does still have bugs, and it lacks some key features. But I rather release a buggy app for people to give feed back early, then write everything just to find out i did it wrong once I get feed back.
your bug is sort of funny, does nil salentinn work? what operating system are you running?
Freddio:
It is a color correction where you can warp the color space. it means that you can pick specific colors, shades and hues and the change them. The cool part is that it does it in HDRI, and that it has a funky interface. It was made for people who work a lot with colors and have high precision needs and want more then just Contrast/brightness control.

Heh. Yeah, I feel like an idiot, because i HAD read the readme, and I even made specific note that F12 was the close program key, because my Logitech keyboard has the F-Lock key that I have to press to use any of my F-keys.
It's indeed interesting. _________________ QED, sort of. |

yeah i guess so, All my apps are sot of in the same style, but i try to design each interface for its of purpose. so if something is really good in one app it may not be good in an other.
Impaler:
I should get a exit button in there some where too.
makototaramoto:
That is so strange it may be ME but i don't know I have never had any problems like that before, do you have any other machines you can try it on? the biggest problem is that i didn't write the loader app so it is a bit hard for me to know what it may be. can you start a console? I hope to re write verse and the loader next year.
Have any one got the hang of the zones? what do you think? are they any good?

New version is out, it has a lot more deformers and selectors, and it shouldn't crash like it used to I think i found why it keeps doing that.
