Hey

I was thinking about starting a Painting for fun thread so here it is.
These pictures are no serious so dont worry about anatomy or anything just go crazy over the canvas.
The first will be a contribution from me.
It was mainly a test with hair and general painting.
Here it is:

I was mainly thinking that you can post a picture in here without making so much work with anatomy and stuff, just paint what you feel like. Play around with new styles or make twisted anatomy, big hands, big feet.
What do you think?

This one is full of filters and effects I normaly would never use ... but will use more often in the future I guess. Not caring about "conventions" or technique sometimes can be very refreshing.

spooge:hahhaha...the only thing I like more than your art is your humour. (working through some deep child memories hah?Wink )

sparth: these are really lovely, your son made good decisions Smile

started as a speedpainting, but than I didn't finish it and thought it would suit in here better

very nice stuff

matthew, good colours, i know its for fun, but try to use a smaller brush or a brush without a spread, your stuff looks too blurry and undefined, or is it smudge? or is it deliberate?

Here are two more from me that I just played around with.
The second one was made with marker then re-painted with photoshop.

Good work everyone.
Heres another I made from a sketch that took 4 minutes (I guess too fast). I didnt manage to save the hand so I abandoned the picture.
