i know its not great ...do the folds look right?

Maybe you should try some exercises first.

Try drawing cubes, thin lines, thick lines, broken lines, dotted lines, circles. Anything that you can imagine that isn't a picture itself, but can constitute the technique involved in a picture. Get used to the tablet before you tackle a picture unequipped.

The folds need more contrast. It looks like you've painted them with two values, which can't really define volume as well if you don't have enough contrast.
