Hi
My wacom pen has (maybe) a slight problem ,and I wonder if any one has the same problem.
The problem is this: The tip of the pen isn't connected firmly enough to the pen. It is a tiny tiny space radius between the tip and the inner walls of the pen. I think this is the reason why there is a slight "lag" when I put the pen on the tablet to make a stroke. Really irratating when I try to paint details, slow and short lines.

If someone has had the same problem, I would really like to know, cause sometimes I just think it's all in my head and then I get crazy. As said above, it is when I try to draw details the problem really is a problem. I own a Graphire2.
Really really happy if anyone would help me somehow. Can i fix it myself or should I send it to Wacom? They aren't exactly well knowned for their customer support.

it's supposed to have a gap?
I have 256 mb RAM on a 666 mhz computer with a geeforce 2 card. I don't think it's my computer.

but I think I've come up with a small solution that helps a bit, namely zooming in while drawing details. Still a bit annoying, though.

What OS are you running? And how long has it been since you last defraged? Chances are your system is bloated despite the background apps you (believe) to have open and there are a lot more other programs sucking up the OS.

I have a similar problem, namely if I open up too big a file (2000x2000) and try to paint on it at 100% zoom, it lags heavily, but helps when I zoom in. I have Tbird900 and 512meg of ram.

No wasn't defrag, but WACOM helped me . They said it was the double-clicking assist.
I got so happy I created a new topic to honor WACOM, and to share my knowledge.
