Im not an expert but...you should go in with more detail (ex: eyes,hair) here are some tips to help you out...http://div.dyndns.org/EK/tutorial/

I think its pretty good except i dont think ther is enough detail, unless your goin for an impressionistic look. Also, her nose is super small; its like a raindrop or somethin. fix that an it should look better.
