First of all, Hello I'm a new Forum's member, and I'm French. (Read : be so kind as to excuse all the errors of my bloody english )
So :
This picture is a painted one (i'm working with a Wacom and photoshop). I plan to make it the more "darker" as possible (cyberpunk...), but I'm actually blocked with the cyborg's clothes... ("it" is a woman in fact )
Also, I'm looking for some advice on the lighting...
Lastly, I am not very proud of the hairs, because they seem a little static ; I would like to make them less stiff...
The original drawing (from "Blame!" of Tsutomu Nihei - modified slightly) : http://otoroshisan.free.fr/colors/sijun_blameNB_preview.jpg |

i love blame!. it's a great series, one of the best i've read over the last few years.
as for your picture: there is a hair-drawing tutorial somewhere around here, i just don't know where exactly...
but to stay in style with the rest of the picture, i would suggest to draw the hair quite rough.
i like the texture you got on her forehead, looks very good. _________________

thank you ; I did not find the tuto but I have just found how to make the hair more realistic, using the airbrush. |
