These are some pages I did a while ago as part of a short Dredd story. It's quite a cartoony style for me - I've since reverted to my old, slightly more realistic, ways. I pencilled and inked them in the real world, and then coloured them on the computer.
Oh yeah, sorry for the lack of lettering - you'll probably find it difficult to figure out what's going on... Anyway, please tell me what you think and what I should have done to make them better

love it , but you should have created your own "hero" instead of dredd |

thanks guys i agree, you can't go wrong with dredd - there's something about his moody-bastard character that's fun to draw ![Twisted Evil](images/smiles/icon_twisted.gif) |

Hey, nicely done (and I'm not just sayin that cause you helped me out with my Japanese).
I think your people could use some more work, especially in their faces. Their bodies are in fairly accurate proportions, so maybe with just a little more refinement you won't be having many problems in that department, but their faces are waaay too simplistic compared to how well you've composed and rendered the buildings, guns, equipment, etc.. C'mon dude, show us what you're capable of.
Coloring, inking, composition and design of the surroundings are all very well done. And even without text, I can still get a rough idea of what's happening (at least within these three pages), so your ability to to a story with sequential art is obvious.
Anyway, overall I'm diggin your style. Keep it up man, you're definitely on your way.

sorry for bumping this up, but i wanted to reply.
thanks for the detailed comments malachi. you hit the nail on the head about my style. i had a problem trying to make the faces match the humorous script when i really prefer drawing stuff slightly more realistic. anyways, i'm working on it for my next comic.
oh yeah, good luck with the tattooed okinawan pic man
