Hello all, I have to admit that seeing the quality of the work in here I'm a bit apprehensive about putting this up but here it goes anyway.

Not too sure how else I could add detail to the silhouette, suggestions?

Well, the foreground is pure black - so the BG "normally" should be pure white.
I think you shouldn't paint the BG in a diffrent style than the foreground.
Either you paint the bg less blurry or you paint the foreground more detailed/ more blurry.
