The bigger a public board gets the higher the chance it's quality will go down - yes...
But a Private board where it's closely regulated and banning/kicking etc is actually inforced...you could probably make an ok board. Just gotta make sure the people doing the banning aren't idiots or nazis. phph34r |

I'm sure there are, at most, 500-1000 active members over the course of a month.
Besides, I've seen huge forums that worked very well. Everyone just splintered off into their own little cliques, and everyone behaved themselves in their own little microcosm.

the best thing to do is just delete the whole forum out of the blue! no more bitching and whining and bullshit behavior - tried and true.
