Hello

I just started working on this..

I really need help with this.. how much detail should I put in? Also the limbs that can be seen are arms.. how can I show the legs and tail? Right now the arms look a bit like legs..

So far it looks good. I wouldn�t show the legs unless you change the rocks. The tail could stick out from behind the rock on the left side of the picture. The detail should go to the head, neck and to the lit areas. The arms are clearly enough arms (I never thought they were legs) just need to be better attached to the body. Be careful with the neck. It looks somewhat broken at the moment.

I would have to say that I think the Bg (satan images) influence are much too evident here.......

However I'd add more detail and work more on the light. Could become very interesting.

The dragon looks mighty, I think you should stick with the arms as legs,
they look really cool.

Sukhoi: uh oh.. is it that evident .. I needed a good dragon face.. so I started searching and BGs painting came up.. so I used that for reference... I'll try to make it more original Smile

I personally think the wings should stretch out some more. Maybe have some veins rippling across them. Hmm... maybe some small patches of scales in the bare spots will roughen him up a little. Maybe the wings can be shredded a little to represent his use in the environmet he is portrayed in.

hm.. that looks like a dog's head with a gargoyles body. and, try to connect the body and the head a bit more.. they look like 2 different objects. also, the wings are waaay too small, they couldn't even lift a penguin :p

agree with sukhoi, that one looks way too much like BG's satan/dragon painting, same colors and basically same head.. not a total ripoff but i think you should give bg some credit.
