Well, I am back from the grave with a "continuation" of an old picture.
Found a really old picture that I did when I still had to use my mouse, and it had about 120 layers. Yikes...
So, I decided to start over and have been working on ONE (yay) layer only.
This is just getting started, I still have to add more information to the skin and randomize it a bit (and do something to that horrible hair), but for now this is what I have done.

If you're going for natural looking flesh here, then the umber tones you're using to model to skin aren't working. They're looking very muddy or dirty. Yes, these are two dirty, dirty girls, and...sorry. In fact it looks like you are using the same color to add shading to Skin, lips and hair. Try looking at some painters you like and see how they handle flesh.
I like the subject matter though. Ahh, young lesbian lust. What could be better than that.

Well, to explain the picture a bit you are all right...
I am working on somewhat of a surreal aspect to the painting, The girl is up to a block of ice (girl and ice, mmm...) that is far more mirrored than a block of ice should be. And then as the vertical shift changes, the other girlstarts to pop out of the ice more and more until her leg is wrapped around the girl... so yeah.
Lee, thank you for the tone advice. Now I am going to add some light and medium tones in there instead of the "mud wrestling" darks that I have right now. Oooh, that could be an idea, mud wrestling...
No! Must remain concentrated so that I may update this soon!
