Pretty frickin' good for second try. I'd work on drawing clothing and folds. The rendering of the pants and shirt sleeves are probably the weekest part of this piece, they look kind of stiff right now.

Hey Uki, I think it looks very good. You have a good sense of human proportion.

One maybe possible suggestion... what size canvas did you work in? The reason I ask is the edges of the figures look very soft. I was thinking if you work in a larger size and then blow it down, it might tighten up the edges a bit more.

thanks Very Happy

i used a 12 inch by 10 inch canvas. :> i was kinda lazy :>

i feel that the bigger the canvas the more to paint hence to more attention i should pay to detail, so i kinda paint about 2:1 or 3:1 ratio... ill keep that in mind next time :>

im a super novice... im 16 :/ hope to learn and get better soon, its holidays now, so when im not too lazy ill just take out my photoshop and have some fun ^^

btw sir, you are one guy who definetely knows his anatomy :p Not me, hehe

hmmm 2 police officers standing on a rock.....doesnt seem awfully believeable...why are they there? whats the point of them standing there??
try to incorporate a sensible background into the image....would make alot more sense...than on a rock... Wink

pretty cool. technical wise, your brushes are too soft leaving edges hazy/wavy and there's a lot of edges on this piece. id experiment with brushes with low softness settings and see how you can mix that with your cool abilities

thanks guys,

Travis: mm, id like to try that too, but somehow when i use high opac. brushes i tend to stray 'off' lol, im just newbie, so its easier for me to stick with low opacity to get the results i want! but i'll certainly try that sometime.
