Here are two things that I've gotten finished in the last few weeks.

The character here is Jeremy, and I did this just to try and work out his costume and color scheme. I still don't like his costume so I'm sure it will change in the future. I like his crossbow, though. Cool

This is just a base camp design I threw together for the purpose of drawing this kind of thing. Originally there were going to be little people walking around in it but once I got this far I didn't want to spend the extra hours.

Both very well done! However, the first one seems a bit off. The arm holding the trigger/stock part of the crossbow dosent seem to be at the right angle. If that makes any sence?

The line art is great on the first, and the wing under the hellicopter on the second if well done!

Nice stuff, and I like the muted color of the first one. I also agree with Ian about the arm though I don't think there is anything anatomically wrong with it. I just think it's not a great choice compositionally to have it paralell to (and directly behind) the crossbow stock (visually confusing). Also the cast shadow on the ground looks too crisp. Shadows generally get more diffused and the edges get softer the farther they are from the source. Conversly they get crisper and darker nearer the source. The shadow thing is minor but I'm just trying to help with whatever I see.

Thanks everyone,

Al Ian: Thanks for pointing out the arm. He was originally supposed to be positioned a little different but the crossbow design didn't let that happen.

Inspector Lee: Yeah, the shadow bothers me too. I had tried to play with it earlier; trying to make it fade as it got further away, but that didn't look right either. So, I thought it might be okay to leave it like that since the whole style of that picture deals with crisp edges. I'll work on the arm. I might have to redesign the crossbow.

Matthew: Thanks. Very Happy

william willette: He's not that bad. It's just the way I draw I guess. Everyone says all my guys look feminin.

Max Kulich: Thanks. It reloads automatically. Cool

Very Happy Too cool as always! I only wish I could paint such backgrounds. And there's nothing wrong with his outfit. Not really any crits, maybe the second one is just a little blurry but that's just a matter of style I think. Please keep up the good work!

Oh yeah...More Nicholas!!
