wow, the last one ... great actions scene, just like you would see him falling
good details on the first one, you worked out the face very well, good choice of colors too
the second one is also great, the snow looks fantastic!
the only crit I have to say about the third one's that you can't see her second arm ... disturbs me in some way.. _________________ Due the lack of interest tomorrow will be canceled. |

Stunning Beat!. Always been a fan or your work.
The strokes are clear cut, little mini planes in themselves. _________________ Namaste

thanks all.
Snorkles: you don't really need a tutorial from me - my bad habits are my bad habits, born of the limitations of the mediums I tried so far, and the nature of most of these works- comissionned works -
All the fundamentals things to consider while doing your art ( value, color, etc ) have been already written down here at sijun's a few times by many people, including spooge. they know their craft and know how to talk precisely about it : research these, it's all you need, really.
added two sketches for these images for you to see that the global composition was nailed before the final painting started, though.
Nilpferd: thanks alot . lost the arm in the painting for some reasons

my only crit would be that the hands pressing upon the blanket in the first picture dont seem to be pressing down very much. There seems to be no weight to the front end of her body. Maybe making her shadow heavier, or increasing the depth of the folds in the fabric would fix this.
Otherwise kickass. |
