their lack of noses is kind of disturbing.

it looks as if the woman on the right is wearing a cylinder. you might want to make it a little less perfectly round if it was meant as the hanging front of a shirt.

nice gift idea, btw.

my favorite parts are the lips and teeth and the hands--but those hardly portray a person's character as much as eyes do and that's where i think you need to focus--well other than adding noses(but i kinda like the no-noses actually) and making their attire have more folds---i love it personally!!! thats a good idea for a present which i might consider doing for someone

I like it. I agree with most of the comments so far. I also think that since this is very stylized, why not make the hands a little smoother and more femanine? They look a bit lumpy to me. -just a thought

OK this is a bit of a different type of resonse I'd give to most paintings.

But what you are trying to do is in a sense commercial so really you are only concerned about quality!!

Ok this style has a good feel to it but I think yuo need to make sure your work is highly accurate.. if this is to be printed then any mistake will surely show.

I suggest yuo trace it in Illustrator and then work like *crap* to make it look the best.

thanks a bunch for the comments... ok I'll try to add the noses as most of you seem to miss them. Will take a little time though since the last time I did something like that I was allmost going insane.

I'll ask my friend wether he agrees on me posting the ref pic or not. I can't ask the girls... for a good reason Smile

And for the eyes... yes, I belive you are right also. Actually I did already make them nicer coz they have that faint drunk look on the original Very Happy

don't like the girl on the lefts nose that much, something looks wrong wirth it, hmm. Without the noses it makes me think of final fantasy tactics though Wink

I like the second picture you have there of your girlfriend though
