Basically my first closeup hi-res flower, a Kapu Kachri, for Strepsils. The reference was very limited so I can't vouch for the likeness.

Just the background isn't that nice.

Nice, what if you added some incandence and translucency? |

Very nice especially the leaf on the right. It's amazing how those flowers look like insects at first glance. |

Yeah, the leaves look a bit plastic. It'd be almost perfect if they had some translucence. Great stuff though. I've been a big fan of your character modeling. It's nice to see you do some nature stuff as well. |

Beautiful picture!
I agree, its plactics because it looks a bit too fresh and perfect, add in some bugs bite mark on the leaves, more scratches and more color variety (preferbably yellow to shows the old age of some parts)

Damn, you guys are right, I should have spent more time, especially on those big leaves. Well maybe I'll get around to it later, but for now this job is finished. (It was a bit of a quickie...) |

great job steven...as usual. ut i think that u should try to render the scene a little less " perfect". This kind of render is amazing for your breathtaking girls, but i think for a nature scene, a more unperfect render and texturing would have been even better. BTW have u tryied to add some transulence to the leaves? that could be nice.
Anyway, amazing image..keep up the crazy work :-) |

Looks good except for shadow and background. Needs more composition. |

Wow, first post in this new forum - I love it!
Thanks for the crits, good points. There is some translucence, but I'm thinking now it wasn't nearly enough. |

agreed, the flower looks awesome, although Id play around with the background some more, it doesnt do the high quality of the foreground justice. |
