I like that picture... its like an oversized bonzai christmas tree with a miniture or tiny man camping under it. The concepts great.

As for technique, you did an excellent job on the lighting on the tree and the bulb/moon look great in coloring and design. The only thing I'd say to fix at all is the right half of the pot and dirt, they don't look of quite the same quality as the rest of it.

I really like the rough quality and concept behind this art though, nice job

@Simoom
Thanks, your absolut right ... i paid not enough attention to the pot ... i'll fix it.

Thx for compliment @all, im also happy with my concept and with the finished one. And those situations are rare ... most times after finishing the picture you'll see so much expression lost from the sketch ...

Ey, watercolors ! I like watercolors, don't know how to use them though Got some hints or tutorial links ?

I like the picture, nice idea, though I'd recommend maybe adding some darker areas for contrast reasons.
The campfire guy just rocks
You have a thing for topfpflanzen yes ? The Baummonster is cool too

I don't know, how to use them, i just did it.
I have also used watercolorpencils(aquarell-buntstifte) you can smudge those lines, so its easy to "sketch" the picture on the paper, also its easy to draw i.e. this littel guy.

The darker areas are not easy in watercolor i think for a watercolor-picture its relativ dark.

Potted plants is my choice of theme for the application-portfolie for a german (similar to)university.
[Topfpflanzen hab ich mir als Mappenthema "ausgesucht" fr die Fachhochschule. ]

The "Baummonster"(eng.=Treemonster) is also nice i think ^^ but the picture has less expression in compare to the sketch. I've givin the details to much attention. :/
